RALEIGH – A Lillington woman was arrested Thursday on felony tax charges filed by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.

RALEIGH – A Dunn tax preparer pleaded guilty Monday in Wake County Superior Court to tax charges filed by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.

Raleigh, N.C. — The North Carolina Department of Revenue (NCDOR) will officially open the 2014 tax filing season on Jan. 31. In accordance with scheduling outlined by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), NCDOR will begin processing individual income tax returns at the end of January.

In an effort to assist more taxpayers during the upcoming tax filing period, the North Carolina Department of Revenue (NCDOR) will offer extended phone hours beginning Monday, Jan. 6.
