The North Carolina motor fuels tax rate for gasoline, diesel, and alternative fuels will increase from 36.5 cents per gallon to 37.5 cents per gallon for the period January 1, 2015 through June 30, 2015, Department of Revenue Secretary Lyons Gray announced today.

RALEIGH – A Hertford County business owner was arrested Thursday on felony tax charges filed by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.

The N.C. Department of Revenue Call Center hours will change to 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, effective Dec. 1.

In an effort to expand outreach efforts to taxpayers, the North Carolina Department of Revenue (NCDOR) will return to the North Carolina State Fair this year. The focus of the presence will be two-fold:

RALEIGH – A Wake County businessman pleaded guilty Friday in Wake County District Court to tax charges filed by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.

RALEIGH – A Zebulon man was arrested Monday on felony charges filed by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.

Marc Fellner, 40, of 1242 Braemar Highland Drive, Zebulon, was charged on September 29, 2014 with three counts of Obtaining Property by False Pretenses.

RALEIGH – A Harnett County woman pleaded guilty Wednesday in Wake County District Court to felony charges filed by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.

RALEIGH – A Buncombe County businessman pleaded guilty Monday in Wake County Superior Court to felony charges filed by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.

RALEIGH – A Cary businessman pleaded guilty Monday in Wake County Superior Court to felony charges filed by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.

RALEIGH – A Durham man was arrested Wednesday on felony tax charges and a misdemeanor tax charge filed by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.
