In an effort to expand outreach efforts to taxpayers, the North Carolina Department of Revenue (NCDOR) will return to the North Carolina State Fair this year. The focus of the presence will be two-fold:
- To educate taxpayers on the upcoming changes in the 2014 tax filing season
- To promote electronic filing (e-File) for individual income taxpayers
In addition to answering taxpayer questions, NCDOR will also be distributing informational materials related to tax changes and e-File. NCDOR will be stationed at Booth 1 within the Commercial Building.
The booth will be open daily from 9:00 A.M. - 9:45 P.M. Individuals who have questions about the upcoming tax season are encouraged to stop by and speak directly with NCDOR staff.
