Sales and Use Tax Registry
The Registry of Sales and Use Tax Numbers contains the names and account ID and SST IDs, as applicable, of all active sales and use tax accounts maintained in the Department's records.
Note: The registries are not available during our maintenance period each Sunday from 4:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Registry for Direct Pay Permits and Exemption Certificate Numbers
The Registry of Direct Pay Permits and Exemption Certificate Numbers contains the names and numbers of taxpayers that have been issued either a direct pay permit or an exemption certificate number and identifies the type of permit or exemption as maintained in the Department's records.
Direct pay permit holders for the following items are included in the registry:
- Tangible Personal Property, Digital Property, and Certain Services
- Telecommunications Service and Ancillary Service
- Direct Mail
- Qualified Jet Engines
- Certain Boat, Aircraft, or Qualified Jet Engine Charges and Services
- Qualifying Spirituous Liquor
The following exemption certificate number holders are also included in the registry:
- Farmers (Qualifying and Conditional)
- Commercial Fishermen
- Commercial Loggers
- Wildlife Managers
- State Agencies
