NCDOR to Hold NCfreefile Briefing with Secretary Penny and Congressman Butterfield in Rocky Mount March 19

The Computer & Communications Industry Association (CCIA) will be hosting a local briefing and demonstration to discuss the benefits of free tax preparation services available to lower and moderate-income taxpayers through the IRS and North Carolina Free File programs and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites within the Rocky Mount community, on Monday, March 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM (Eastern).

Following the briefing, community leaders will take part in an interactive demonstration to learn how to access and use Free File and inform eligible taxpayers in the community. Media is encouraged to stay for the demonstration.
