NCDOR Contacts Taxpayers About Recent Technical Disruption

On Monday, April 14th and Tuesday, April 15th the North Carolina Department of Revenue (NCDOR) experienced intermittent technical difficulties with certain web applications. The temporary disruptions were due to a significant increase in payment submissions to our system.

NCDOR has e-mailed taxpayers who may have been affected by this short-term issue. Within the e-mail, a special help telephone number is provided which taxpayers may use to contact the department. This line is staffed by trained customer service agents who can answer any questions related to the matter.

NCDOR will not call or e-mail you asking for payment information and taxpayers should not e-mail sensitive information to the department. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
