At the NC Department of Revenue, we look at how our own Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) efforts relate to our role as public servants. We are committed to prioritizing the work of engagement, equity, diversity, and inclusion across our organization. We understand that this work is ongoing and takes time, and we remain committed to making a positive impact on our culture and communities. In order to make meaningful change, DEI must be threaded into the fabric of everything we do.  

Our Statement of Intent

NCDOR is committed to fostering, cultivating, and achieving a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. We are further committed to ongoing training for all employees in order to equip them to embrace, model, and live out the tenets of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace as well as in any other places where they represent the agency.

DEI Committee

The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee works with the DEI team to ensure continued progress toward the vision of the agency’s equity and diversity initiative.
