Help Wanted: Contact Center Agents
The NC Department of Revenue is recruiting for Contact Center Agents. These are entry-level positions with important responsibilities and the opportunity for career growth and development.
We have positions available in Raleigh, Greensboro, and Rocky Mount. Contact Center Agents take calls from taxpayers to answer questions, encourage compliance with our state’s tax laws, and promote the agency’s electronic filing and other self-service options.
• Exceptional customer service skills are a must
• Call center experience preferred, but not necessary
• No tax experience necessary!
• Starting salaries: $36,382 - $46,200
Specific Requirements
• High School or General Educational Development (GED) diploma
• Two years of related administrative experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
