Approved Educational Offerings for Assessors and Appraisers
To maintain certification, county appraisers and assessors must complete at least 30 hours of approved continuing education during every two-year education cycle. Appraisers may take courses in either real or personal property appraisal to meet this requirement.
Appraisers continuing education courses must be at least 4 coursework hours. Appraisers may only earn continuing education credits through coursework, only Assessors can earn hours for conference attendance, tax association meeting attendance, and coursework under 4 hours.
