State Assessed Properties - Public Service Company Section
The Public Service Section of the Local Government Division conducts the annual appraisals of State Assessed Properties. These assessments are then certified to counties, cities and other taxing jurisdictions for billing and collection of property taxes. The following company types file with our office: Airlines, Bus, Communication (Landline), Gas, Motor Freight, Pipeline, Power & EMC, Railroad and Wireless and Tower Companies.
